As the race for 2023 elections gets underway, many have asked why Chief James Augoye, Agadagba Okpe and immediate past Commissioner for Works should be the choice of Deltans for Governor of Delta State.
Needless to say, Chief Augoye is a grassroots politician, a good leader, who is loved by the people, who believe in him because he is trustworthy, honest, humble and capable.
Augoye is a leader, who is ready to serve, and continue the legacies already emplaced by past Governors of the State, and thereby take the State to greater heights.
Deltans need a Governor that has the interest of the people at heart in Government House, Asaba come 2023. Augoye sure has the interest of the people at heart.
Given the opportunity to serve in the Delta State Executive Council and the capacity of Commissioner for Works, Chief Augoye contributed within the capacity to the immense development of our dear State.
The Agadagba Okpe climbed the ladder of leadership right from community leadership to councillor in Okpe Local Government Area and Chairman of the local government council.
No doubt, having served in the State Executive Council as two-time Commissioner for Works, Deltans unanimously agree that Augoye did incredibly well.
The two-time Commissioner’s performance was tremendous, above board and had an immediate impact on Delta State. Given a better opportunity and bigger capacity, Augoye will beat expectations.
Support for Augoye’s aspiration for governorship come 2023 supports well put in place.
Augoye will not just build on the prosperity legacy of His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, but he will take the State to greater heights.
This is, therefore, to appeal to Deltans to throw their weight behind Augoye. This is a call on our leaders across the senatorial districts in Delta State to support and endorse Augoye for governor as the sole candidate.
